As a more portly Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) prepares to leave Blackgate Prison after ten years, strange things begin to take place in Gotham on the eve of the return of Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) for the opening of the new Wayne Towers. Many of Gotham’s residents are waiting for Bruce to return including Selina Kyle (played by Lili Simmons), who is still disappointed she was left behind. Whispers are abound of a dark menace blighting the criminal underworld, while the G.C.P.D. are unable to trace missing US military supplies.

As the day arrives and Penguin walks free more offbeat moments ensue as the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) is busted out of Arkham Asylum and a shaken Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) is framed for the murder of an Arkham guard.

As Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) begins to piece together the evidence helped by an unknown figure in black, a sinister plot targeting the city of Gotham and Wayne Towers is revealed to be masterminded by Jeremiah
Valeska (Cameron Monaghan), or is that Jack, Joseph, John or Mr Jay. As Jim prepares to face the disfigured Jeremiah at ACE Chemicals a new figure emerges to be the hero that Gotham needs.

EXCLUSIVE Gotham Scarface Interview Andrew Sellon Part 2. Ventriloquist and Mr. Penn from Gotham

Gotham loves shocking us and the return of Andrew Sellon this week was a huge surprise. We chat with Andrew about how Gotham Scarface all came about. This interview contains spoilers all the way up to Gotham Season 5 Episode 8 “Nothing Shocking” so please make sure you’ve watched all episodes up to and including this one.

Gotham Scarface
We interview actor Andrew Sellon about his return as Ventriloquist
and Scarface on Gotham Season 5

On this week’s episode Andrew Sellon returned as Gotham Scarface after his untimely death. After our previous interview with Andrew where we thought it was the last we’d see of Mr. Arthur Penn he returned to tell us how it all came about. Here’s a few of the bits we discussed

  • Andrew’s past as a Ventriloquist before Gotham
  • The fans part in Scarface appearing in the show
  • This episode was the 11th episode written of Gotham. If Fox had commissioned a 12 episode season from the outset it’s very likely we never would have seen Gotham Scarface.

We hope you enjoyed our latest interview with Gotham Scarface Andrew Sellon. It was an absolute pleasure to speak to Andrew once again about his time on Gotham. He couldn’t tell us about his return to Gotham last time because of spoilers but his kindness in returning to our show to chat about how it all came about is so great.

Synopsis for Gotham Season 4 Episode 11 Review Queen Takes Knight Podcast

Directed by: Danny Cannon

Written by: John Stephens

The continuing violent feud between Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed) rages on but the arrival of Carmine Falcone (John Doman) to Gotham at the request of Oswald, complicates the picture. His death at the hands of gunmen linked to Oswald sends Gotham into turmoil. Despite the chaos the wealthy in Gotham continue to party and Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) is on a bender. His antics in and out of the bedroom put increasing distance and friction between him and Alfred . Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertweetries to get through to Bruce once and for all, but events escalate and Bruce fires Alfred and terminates his guardianship over him by legal order. In the Narrows, Ed Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) struggles to gain control over the Riddler persona, and Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) attempts to make Grundy remember his past one bat to the head at a time. As war descends on Gotham in the void of Falcone’s murder, a determined Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie), backed by the G.C.P.D. seeks to end the gang stranglehold in the City. First he dismantles Oswald’s forces, arresting him for the death of Martin. Jim then turns his attention on Sophia but a series of secrets, lies and revelations of her actions brings into focus the stark choices that Jim must make as Captain of the GCPD. As the extent of Sophia’s manipulation is laid bare Bullocks prophetic words ring out “This is about the choices you made! This is all on you!”. But all is not tears and sadness in Gotham as a familiar smile and a distinctive chuckle resurfaces in Gotham.
