Bruce’s conditioning wears off as he is confronted with Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) run-through by his own hand.  Spurning the offer from Ra’s al Ghul (Alexander Siddig) offer to be his heir Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) uses the waters of the Lazarus Pit to rescue Alfred from death. At the hospital Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) arrives and the tense visit sees her and Bruce’s relationship disintegrate as they both go their separate ways. With Jervis Tetch (Benedict Samuel) in the hands of Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) and The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) they begin to blackmail the city in exchange for Tetch and the antidote. However, Nygma’s obsession with Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) forces him to betray Barbara as he meets Jim and Harvey to swap Tetch for the Penguin.  However, the deal heads south as Barbara, Tabitha and Butch interrupt the exchange. In the escape, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) secure Tetch’s blood for the antidote; and Cobblepot turns the tables in his favour capturing Nygma. Back at the GCPD, Jim Gordon, still fighting the virus, is caught between saving himself and Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin), or joining her and embracing his true-virus-self. Gordon decides to leave with Lee but as they escape through the train station, Bullock intercepts them and urges Jim to remember his calling giving him his badge back with two vials of the antidote. In the train, Gordon injects himself and Lee, freeing them from the virus. Losing Tetch opens the fault lines between Barbara and Butch Gilzean (Drew Powell) and Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas). Butch is shot and Tabitha kills Barbara in revenge. Elsewhere, Nygma breaks free of Cobblepot’s handcuffs and believes he has the upper hand but Cobblepot has wised up to the Riddler and goads him into returning to the port. At the docks, Cobblepot’s trap is sprung as Victor Fries (Nathan Darrow) freezes Nygma and in so doing forms a gorgeous centerpiece to Penguin’s new club “The Iceberg Lounge” but, as he tells Ivy (Maggie Geha), it is also as an important reminder to never let love weaken him again. As some normality returns to Gotham, Selina  is adopted by Tabitha who is surprised by her skill with her whip. Gordon receives a letter from Lee, stating she is leaving Gotham; and a new vigilante is out in Gotham protecting the vulnerable. On a rooftop high above Gotham Bruce Wayne removes his mask.

Now their only hope is to secure Tetch at Arkham Asylum, but he is snatched up by Butch Gilzean (Drew Powell), Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) and Barbara as the Riddler tries to once again kill Oswald. During the riots Bruce manages to escape his cell and sets out to find the Demon’s Head, followed by Alfred. Bruce finally finds the building to discover the League of Shadows guarding the Lazarus Pit with a man waiting for him, who introduces himself as the “Demon’s Head”: Ra’s al Ghul (Alexander Siddig). Alfred attempts to rescue a resistant Bruce but is captured giving Ra’s the opportunity to allow Bruce to prove his worth by killing Alfred. Alfred’s pleas to Bruce are met with the sharp end of a sword.

EXCLUSIVE Interview with Robin Lord Taylor and Drew Powell at Heroes And Villains Fan Fest London – GTVP Episode 87

On our second day at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest London we sat down for another EXCLUSIVE Interview with Robin Lord Taylor and Drew Powell who play Oswald Cobblepot and Butch Gilzean on Gotham. It was great to have the opportunity to sit down with Drew and Robin again. They were both hugely complimentary to all the fans who turned out for a difficult week in the UK. We also learn what Robin Lord Taylor feels is causing all of Oswald’s problems and what Butch would like to replace his hand.

A huge thanks to the team over at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest London and Walker Stalker Con who made this interview happen and also thanks to Drew Powell and Robin Lord Taylor for taking the time out to talk Gotham with us during his hugely busy weekend.
