    Hi Guys,

I just wanted to say I loved Episode 4 and Episode 5, with the 20 comics review – really brought them to life! Plus the eye(s) you guys have for details is fantastic, lots of things I wouldn’t have thought of or noticed – ye are doing a really great podcast and I am hooked! The story arc with Marcus Driver and Mr. Freeze, the abuse of Rene Montoya – all brought to life and brightened up my commute no end! I think ye are even better on second/third listen (and of course we knew that Derek doesn’t think Frank Miller did ‘Watchmen’ but the out take at the end of the episode was hilarious :-))

    Hey guys,

Long time listener, First time commenter.

    Okay so question(s) time….
Who would you consider to be the greatest Batman villain in both the comics and movie universes?

Who do you consider to be the greatest Robin? Tim? Jason? DAMIEN perhaps????

With so many slight variations to batmans origin over the last few years, which do think was the best/ worst?

  5. Thanks Chris, great to hear from you and a really good question. I can see a conversation in this one. I (Derek) have a soft spot for Dick Grayson but I love Tim Drake too. I think myself and John will be podering this one for discussion.
Nice one Chris and as easy as that you’re in with the chance to win the Penguin Print.

  6. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with her tiara. I actually like the mini-skirt/loin cloth; It’s a decent compromise between the swimsuit look and longer skirt. I hate the lack of color in the promo images for this movie. I’m hoping that’s just a result of the bleak surroundings rather than the finished color scheme. I’m not seeing any red or blue here, but it could be that her outfit is strictly a product of her Amazon roots at this point and she hasn’t adopted the American flag colors yet. I wish she didn’t have high heels, but unfortunately it’s expected. I’d really like a closer look at her silver bracelets (gauntlets?) and that tiara. Overall, she looks alright and it’s too early to judge any further out of context with the movie. Honestly the sparks in this picture bug me more than anything related to her outfit. Sooo many character posters and images include sparks nowadays. It’s really cliche and unimaginative.

  7. Looking at the backdrop I think Wonder Woman is in a still broken Metropolis. So the sparks in this case probably make a bit more sense. Gal Gadot definitely looks like she could face down Batman and Superman here.
I really like the silver lasso it’ll probably turn gold when she’s interrogating Clark about why he destroyed Metropolis to kill one enemy.
    Thanks for the comments.

John and Derek, I am from Phoenix, Arizona and I just wanted to let you know that I gave you a 5 star rating in the US iTunes! I love this. I was already anticipating the show but you have brought back that teenage boy that I was anticipating the 1989 Batman. I was 19 at the time but it was exciting because the only live action prior to that was the Adam West Batman! Thank-you! Dan

    1. Hi Dan, Thank you for your iTunes review and feedback it is really appreciated. We’re really glad that you are enjoying the show and like us are getting excited for the start of the show. We know what you mean about the anticipation for this new live action TV series, we can’t wait to see how they go about creating the world of Gotham and all the characters that will inhabit the city. For me I can’t wait to see how Oswald Cobblepot and Fish Mooney relationship plays out and of course to see the different partnerships in the G.C.P.D. Thanks again for the comments. John and Derek

  9. Mondragon says:

Great interview, love these two characters together, and it sounds like the chemistry is all there.

If WB ever want to pursue these characters further, spin them off into a crossover with Constantine, these two from Gotham would be the ideal characters to bridge that gap into the supernatural.

Stewart-Jones: “…do not cross Allen and Montoya!”

  11. Glad you liked it. It was really good of Victoria and Andrew to take the time out to join us. They would definitely work well on a visit to Constantine I’d love to see them get a few cases on their own to establish their characters and perhaps the Detective Jim Corrigan on Constantine may have a past in Gotham City.

  12. Brian Foster says:

I can’t find anywhere to download the podcast.

    1. Hi Brian, the podcast is available if you click here https://gothamtvpodcast.com/category/podcast/ or you can subscribe in iTunes, player.fm or Stitcher. We’ll release our review of Gotham Season 1 Episode 1 after the UK/Irish premiere on Monday the 13th of October.

  13. Claire Payne says:

Thank you for mentioning my feedback. Also the mention a the beginning of podcast for episode 6 s2. I’ve never done any kind of social networking or left any kind of feedback on any television/film. The enthusiasm for Gotham is addictive, and really quite eye opening for how people in general get excited by the tinest bit of spoiler or information released.
All your points, notes and bullock quotes are spot on. I hope your army of listeners grow each week.

    1. Thanks Claire. We’ve been covering the show for a long time and really enjoy getting to sit down and chat about it each week.
      Great to hear from you.

      Derek

  14. Lori Petty’s cameo was just awesome. Loved her scenes with Bruce. That fight club scene was great. Alfred was hilarious…teaching while fighting. Loved Bruce and Matches scene. Good stuff. Keep it up guys!

  15. John d broadhead says:

The gotham ladies sre really doing a good job i liked the episode were lee put jim in the coffin with the virus

  16. I’m absolutely loving this final season. I loved this episode.

The only thing that I don’t like about this show and it has shown itself throughout all of the seasons is death means absolutely nothing. If you die you can just be brought back within the next episode and it takes away any meaning death should hold.
