Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) hits the trail of the Red Hoods and soon discovers that Butch Gilzean (Drew Powell), after killing his gang, is behind the new version of the group as part of a scheme to undermine Ngyma’s influence with Penguin and establish himself once again as Cobblepot’s right-hand man. At a celebratory party in the new mayor’s honor, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) tells Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) how he feels about her, but is not sure how Selina feels towards him, as he reasserts his feeling towards her they both share a kiss. Meanwhile, Nygma, who has Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) hostage, confronts Butch and manipulates him with the promise of power but only if he kills Cobblepot. As he executes the plan he is exposed as the leader of the Red Hood gang and is betrayed by Nygma. Back at the GCPD, Captain Barnes (Michael Chiklis) who was previously exposed to the blood of Alice Tetch (Naian González Norvind) blood asks Leslie Tompkins (Morena Baccarin) about the tests on the blood as he begins to find his feet and a newfound strength from within.
